Capture a piece of Nonnish Kingdom history! 

In this 1/1, Longstreet uses unique and unusual techniques to make a 9-foot grand piano sound very different from its traditional tone. By striking the strings with a hard mallet, plucking the strings with his fingers, using a guitar string with rosin to “bow” the piano strings, and playing flute into the body of the piano (while pressing down on the sustain pedal, causing the strings to resonate due to sympathetic vibrations), Longstreet produces something very special without the use of any audio effects. The sounds recorded in these videos were then sampled and used in his music for the Nonnish Kingdom website.
