Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, BWV 565 composed by J.S. Bach is an iconic masterpiece that rose to prominence when it was featured in the Disney’s cult classic, “Fantasia.” 

In this powerful arrangement, Longstreet has reimagined Bach’s most well-known fugue for multiple organs, synthesizers and orchestra. 

The sound bars on bottom represent the notes that are to be played by the pedals of the organ with the performers feet. The sound bars on top represent the music that is to be played on the “manuals.” The sound bars on the left and right represent the music that is to be played by the left and right hands. These sound visualizers are designed by Longstreet to draw attention to the demanding technique required to perform this piece, and to highlight the genius and complexity of this quintessential composition.
