Despite my current practice in computer-generated imagery and artificial intelligence, I am an artist with a background in classical painting. I have spent years studying and producing images in oil painting following the techniques of the great masters of painting. In this series I seek to merge classical images with machine aesthetics, leaving traces of imperfections caused by glitches and digital compression.
