Three sketches were created - an eye, a tiger, and a flight of stairs. Multiple duplications of these sketches in formation were made across a page. Within this chaos of chance, 'Sal' was seen and carved out. Black Earth is the translation of the Egyptian 'kēme', referring to the fertile soil of the Nile Valley. The word Alchemy has its roots in this term.
